Were looking for Catering Assistants to join our friendly Facilities Team at our Outstanding CQC-rated hospice in Bradford., At Marie Curie Bradford Hospice, our catering team plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive environment for patients, visitors, staff and volunteers. Our Cafe is open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 10 am and 12 pm to 2 pm, serving refreshments, light snacks and meals throughout the day. Reporting to the Head Chef, you'll support the daily running of our catering services, helping us maintain our level 5 food hygiene rating and consistently high standards of food service. From food preparation and simple cooking to general kitchen duties, you'll help keep the kitchen running smoothly. If you're organised, flexible and take pride in delivering great service, wed love to hear from you., We are recruiting Catering Assistants to join the Facilities Team at our Outstanding CQC rated Hospice in Bradford., The Marie Curie Bradford Hospice offers exceptional care in a welcoming environment for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones. Our Cafe operates daily from 8 am to 10 am and 12 noon to 2 pm Monday to Friday, providing a variety of refreshments, light snacks, and meals for patients, visitors, staff, and volunteers. As a member of our catering team, reporting to the Head Chef, you will assist in the daily provision of all catering services at the Hospice. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our level 5 food hygiene rating and our commitment to delivering consistently high quality food service. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, performing general kitchen duties, food preparation, and cooking simple meals under the direction of the Head Chef/Chef. Flexibility, a well-presented appearance, and strong organisational skills are essential.

• Knowledge and practice of all food hygiene regulations (as outlined in the Food Safety Manual)
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Awareness of health and safety issues in the workplace
• Experience or knowledge of working in a catering department or kitchen
