Catering Assistants

This site operates between 07:00 and 14:30, Monday - Friday, Term Time Only. Available hours will be offered within these time frames.

We are looking to appoint Catering Assistants to join our experienced team in preparing food and serving pupils aged 11-16 in a very busy school canteen. The role will also involve helping to maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school and local authority. Previous experience is not essential as full training is provided, and a Food Hygiene Certificate course will be arranged if this is not currently held. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build confidence in the service, and develop an understanding of the role within a supportive team. For the role, we ask that you have:

• An understanding of the role to perform duties effectively and efficiently.
• The ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
