Catering Assistant CPK - Royal Bournemouth Hospital

University Hospitals Dorset is seeking a friendly hardworking, reliable person to support the Catering team within our Central production kitchen, (CPK) you will be working with our team of chefs to produce meals for the hospitals within University Hospitals Dorset., As a vital part of the catering team, you will support our chefs in producing high-quality meals for University Hospitals Dorset. Your primary responsibilities include following production plans to accurately pick and weigh daily ingredients. This role requires exceptional attention to detail to ensure precise ingredient selection and maintain thorough records, ensuring an accurate audit trail for all stock used. You will maintain high standards of hygiene within the Central Production Kitchen, collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.

UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.

If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not bereimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
