Location: Newport
Pay Rate: £13 per hour
Hours: Flexible shifts to suit event requirements
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting Catering Assistants to support busy events in Newport.
This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work, with shifts available around sporting events. If you enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment and delivering great customer service, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking food
- Serving customers and operating tills
- Replenishing stock and assisting with stock control
- Keeping catering areas clean, tidy and hygienic
- Supporting the wider catering team during busy sporting events
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Previous catering or hospitality experience is beneficial
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment
- Reliability and flexibility to work around event schedules
