Catering Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Horsham, RH12 for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent. The role is 35 hours per week, 7.30am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only

People are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for a motivated Catering Assistant to help us create an outstanding food offer at our school site in West Sussex., This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

What you will be doing

- General kitchen duties

- Putting away deliveries

- Food preparation

- Serving, cleaning and washing up

- Assisting with inventory management

- Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters

- Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner

- Undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team
