Catering Assistant

Welcome to Spire Elland Hospital, where we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive nutritious and delicious meals during their stay with us.
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and serving of meals to patients, as well as ensuring that the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and hygienic at all times. Your role will involve working closely with the catering team to deliver high-quality food and beverage services to our patients.

As a temporary member of the Spire Healthcare team, you will need to hit the ground running and be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment. Your shift will start promptly at 08:00:00 and end at 20:00:00, giving you the opportunity to work a full day and make a real difference to the lives of our patients.
During your time with us, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with patients on a daily basis. A friendly and approachable manner is essential, as you will be responsible for taking meal orders, delivering trays to patients, and providing assistance as needed.
Attention to detail is key in this role, as you will be responsible for ensuring that all dietary requirements and preferences are accurately recorded and catered for. You will need to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and ensure that meals are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

In return for your hard work and dedication, we are offering a competitive payment rate of £130.80 per shift. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a healthcare setting and make a real difference to the lives of our patients.
