Catering Assistant

An opportunity has arisen within the Catering Department at The Freeman Hospital for a Full Time Catering Assistant to work as a part of our team working in the Freeman Catering Department serving food to staff, visitors patient and of site facilities, as a part of the team you will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the department in line with food hygiene regulations and Trust policies. Working 5 days over 7 ( shifts you will be working 07:00 to 15:00 and 11:15 to 19:15)

• Working on the food counter serving customers.
• Working on the Till and taking payment and cashing up.
• working in the deli bar making fresh sandwiches and salads.
• stocking of goods and stock rotation.
• Dealing with complaints.
• Working in other areas were food is served.
• Running for food that is required on the front.
• Working on the patient belt when required
• Working in the dish wash area stripping the trolleys and placing the crockery through the washers.
• Filling in of departmental paper work.
• General cleaning duties within the department.
• At all times following food hygiene and trust policy regulations.
