and presentation.Working as part of a busy team, you will help create a positive dining experience for site colleagues and visitors while ensuring the catering operation runs smoothly and efficiently.What You'll Do:As a Food Service Assistant, your responsibilities will include:Cooking and serving breakfast items to customersPreparing sandwiches, grab-and-go products and other food items in accordance with company specifications and build cardsCarrying out general kitchen duties including food preparation, cleaning and maintaining hygiene standardsEnsuring all products are correctly labelled in line with Natasha's Law and company proceduresStocking and replenishing vending machines with food, drinks and confectioneryCleaning and maintaining vending machines in accordance with cleaning schedulesCompleting vending control sheets and accurately recording stock and cash takingsMonitoring and recording food temperatures in line with HACCP requirementsAssisting with weekly stock ordering and
monthly stock takesOperating the EPOS till system and processing customer transactionsSupporting all areas of the catering operation as requiredMaintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanlinessSupporting merchandising and promotional activities within the catering operationAttending training sessions and team meetings as requiredDelivering excellent customer service and building positive relationships with customers and colleaguesWhat You'll Bring:To be successful in this role, you will have:Experience preparing and serving breakfasts, sandwiches and other food items within a catering, hospitality or food service environmentBasic food preparation and kitchen experienceExcellent customer service and communication skillsA positive, flexible and team-focused attitudeGood organisational skills and attention to detailBasic numeracy and cash handling skillsThe ability to work efficiently in a busy environmentKnowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirementsWillingness to
