Full Job Description
If you are passionate about food and have a good work ethic, we would love to hear from you because our self-motivated and dedicated team requires a Catering Assistant. Working for us, you will have the opportunity to work in a busy and exciting environment. You will be responsible for serving appetising meals whilst ensuring compliance with all aspects of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety. Other duties will include the setting up and clearing away of tables and general cleaning duties. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, ideal to fit around family commitments. If you are hoping to start a career in catering or even looking to change your job, this role could help start you on that path. We need a motivated and dedicated person who has: -
- The ability to build good relationships with adults based on mutual respect.
- Knowledge of basic food safety. This would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
- Good communication and people skills
- The ability to work on their own and as part of a team. You will need:
- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility and the willingness to assist with other catering duties., An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job Welsh language level - verbal Level 2 - You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
