Full Job Description
Yeatman Hospital is looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our patients, staff, and visitors receive high-quality meals in a clean and welcoming environment.

This is a part time post of 28 hours per week. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
Every Week
Monday 10:30 am - 6:00pm
Wednesday 9:00 am- 3:00pm
Thursday 10:30 am- 6:00pm
Every other weekend
Saturday 10.30am - 6:00pm
Sunday 10.30am - 6:00pm

Main duties of the job
Preparing and serving meals to patients, staff and visitors.
Assisting with basic food preparation whilst maintaining the standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Washing up and general cleaning duties, following food safety regulations and hospital policies whilst providing excellent customer service.
Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
