Full Job Description
Develop EMEA regional sourcing and procurement strategies across Professional Services aligned with the global category direction which represent approximately $125M in spend at GE HealthCare across 43 countries. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal contractual terms while ensuring internal stakeholder satisfaction. Leverage industry knowledge and market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices. Build relationships with critical business stakeholders to ensure current and future business requirements are met for own Category scope and in partnership with fellow Regional Category Managers for Total HR & Labour Services., This role will report into the Director Global Categories Professional Services, Total HR & Labour Services and partner with Global & Regional Category Team-mates.,
- Define and execute sourcing or category management strategies aligned with business goals.
- Coordinate with global sourcing leads to ensure regional strategies are in line with global strategic vision.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, HR, quality, and business teams in region.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisions.
- Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead or support supplier transitions, audits, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and report on category performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and legal requirements.
- Support regional sourcing initiatives and projects.
For roles outside of the USA - This role requires significant experience in Sourcing & Sourcing Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience - 4 years)., Expertise in specific sourcing categories (e.g., Professional Services - Consulting, Legal, Financial, Medical, Technical and Marketing Services). - Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Proficiency in sourcing tools and systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g. French) are an advantage.
