Category Lead - Global Grocery

About This RoleAs the Category Lead in our Global Grocery Sales Team, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring, managing, and developing partnerships with some of the largest grocers around the globe. Your mission? To ensure Just Eat Takeaway.com delivers an unbeatable proposition to our consumers.
In this dynamic position, you will:
Drive the development of the grocery category consumer proposition.
Define business requirements that shape our Product & Technology roadmap.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Local Account Management, Tech, Marketing, Legal, and Logistics teams.
Contribute to capability-building programs that support our global strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the grocery category, defining new cross-functional capabilities.
Take P&L responsibility for your global grocery accounts, with a clear growth plan.
Drive the adoption of agentic category management capabilities.
Work closely with local Heads of Retail across 15 markets to ensure executional excellence.
Manage senior stakeholders across a matrix-led organization.
Author Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that translate partner needs into actionable items.
Engage with various JET functions to enhance company capabilities and improve user experience.
Represent JET at industry events, showcasing your superior networking skills.

What Will You Bring to the Team? A proven track record in closing enterprise deals and driving fast, hands-on implementation.
High energy, autonomy, and resilience with a "get it done" attitude.
Extensive experience in account management or business development in FMCG or Retail, preferably at a global level.
Commercial savvy with strong influencing skills and the ability to craft clear narratives.
Experience in building positive relationships and managing stakeholders at all levels.
A data-driven mindset, using relevant insights to make informed decisions.
