Full Job Description

Ysgol Afon Wen is seeking a reliable, practical, and hardworking individual to join our Site Team on a casual temporary basis to support the school during the Summer Term and Summer Holiday period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and can work flexibly as part of a team. Contract Details

  • Casual temporary contract
  • Summer Term only, including Summer Holidays
  • Minimum 10 hours per week
  • Flexible working hours to meet the needs of the school
    • Duties May Include
  • Assisting with general site maintenance and repairs
  • Supporting with setting up rooms and school events
  • Basic decorating and outdoor maintenance
  • Health and safety checks
  • Assisting with cleaning and caretaking duties where required
  • Ensuring the school site remains safe, secure, and well presented

    Is reliable, punctual, and flexible
  • Has good practical and DIY skills
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Takes a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Understands the importance of health and safety within a school environment
  • Previous site, caretaking, maintenance, or facilities experience would be desirable but is not essential.
