Summary

We are recruiting Casual Support Workers at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: Zero Hours

Contract Type: Relief/Casual

Location: Trinity Fields School and Resource Centre

We pay an attractive salary of £14.36 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Trinity Fields Leisure Services is a Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) registered provision delivering high-quality, play-based out-of-school care for pupils of Trinity Fields School aged 4 to 17 years.

The service supports children and young people with severe and complex learning and physical disabilities across Caerphilly County Borough, operating during school holidays, weekends and evenings.

Candidate Requirements

• A formal qualification e.g. in Youth Work, Play Work, Health & Social Care, Child Development or working towards completion of award.


• An understanding of the needs of children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and those who may present with behaviours that challenge.


• Experience of supporting children and young people with complex needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and behaviours that challenge.
