Full Job Description
Invigilators are responsible for the correct running of internal and external examinations in a range of exam rooms.
Experience is not required, as training will be provided.
The work is on a casual basis throughout the year. Our key examination periods are October/November, February/March, and May/June/July, with limited additional opportunities available outside of these periods. Please bear these examination periods in mind when submitting your application. Exams typically take place in two sessions: morning and afternoon, though there is often an additional mid-morning session.
Invigilators should enjoy working as part of a team. They should be interested in working in a school environment and in supporting candidates, in both large and smaller groups.
The position is ideally suited to a responsible, calm, organised individual who have effective communication skills and are expected to dress appropriately for a school environment.
Experience of working in a school environment or with secondary aged students would be advantageous.
