Casual Children's Club Practitioner

As a Children's Club Practitioner, you will support the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, outdoor play, themed events and enrichment activities. You'll help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child can thrive, make friends and have fun.

Working as part of a friendly team, you will supervise children throughout the day, encourage participation, support positive behaviour and ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging activities for children aged 4 to 11.

Supervise children and ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times.

Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment.

Support children's social, emotional and personal development.

Encourage participation, confidence and teamwork.

Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and club procedures.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers and other stakeholders.

Report and record any safeguarding, welfare or behavioural concerns appropriately.

Have experience working with children in a school, childcare, sports coaching, youth work or holiday club setting.

Are enthusiastic, approachable and engaging.

Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Can think creatively and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities.

Are reliable, organised and able to use your initiative.

Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
