Full Job Description

The Better Living Service contributes to tacking inequalities in health through promoting and supporting people to develop healthier behaviours and lifestyles.

The successful candidate will be required to deliver sessions across the whole of Calderdale and they must be flexible in delivering across 7 days per week. The days/hours will vary dependent on service commitments throughout the week.

The principal duties of this role are to deliver 1-1 interventions in community settings as well as leisure centres.

The successful candidate will have a passion for promoting the service and supporting individual's health and wellbeing, be organised, dynamic and reliable.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
