Case Administrator

The post holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial support to the Continuing & Complex Healthcare team ensuring and maintaining financial and non-financial data is timely, reliable and accurate. There will be a requirement to validate invoices for agreed care packages and liaise with providers as necessary.

The post holder will be expected to work within set timescales and strict deadlines and be able to work unsupervised for long periods and provide appropriate administrative support to the Continuing Healthcare team when required.

The post holder will ensure that the above processes adhere to the standards outlined within the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare (revised 2012), Liaise with all providers with regard to any queries or discrepancies with invoices or accounts.

As first point of contact for providers' queries, the post holder will use their own initiative and effectively manage challenging and situations when they arise, displaying a calm, polite attitude at all times. To provide a quality service and ensure effective communication with colleagues is delivered at all times.

The post holder will need to have good working relationships and be able to communicate effectively with professionals including nurses or social workers.
