Introduction
We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Carpentry & Joinery Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of carpentry projects while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

What You'll Do
Key Duties and Responsibilities
First Fix Carpentry
- Installing roof trusses and constructing cut roofs.
- Fitting floor joists and timber frame structures.
- Assisting with the construction of timber-framed houses.
- Carrying out structural carpentry work to required specifications.
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.
- Measuring, cutting and assembling timber components.
Second Fix Carpentry
- Installing skirting boards and architraves.
- Hanging internal and external doors.
- Assisting with kitchen fitting and installation.
- Laying a variety of flooring types.
- Fitting staircases and associated components.
- Completing high-quality finishing work to residential properties.
Training Outcome
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into a qualified Carpenter & Joiner position within the business.
