Carpenter (Void Properties)
Location: Various domestic properties (voids)
Pay Rate: £25 per hour
Start Date: To be confirmed
Duties
- Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry on void properties
- Installing and repairing doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, and kitchens as required
- Completing remedial works and general repairs to a high standard
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently to meet turnaround deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Adhering to all site health and safety regulations
- Reporting any additional works or issues to site management
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Proven experience in carpentry, particularly within domestic or social housing void properties
- Own tools and PPE preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
