Caretaker

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months About the Role As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the site, carrying out general maintenance tasks, maintaining equipment, and helping to ensure the site remains safe and well maintained. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and other practical tasks as directed by the Site Manager. Perform reactive maintenance, including painting, decorating, and minor plumbing, and electrical repairs. Install, repair, or replace fixtures and fittings, including locks, curtains, blinds, shelves, and window restrictors. Assemble flat-pack furniture and install household appliances, such as washing machines. Maintain outdoor areas, including gardens and yards, and clear drains as required. Complete maintenance records and ensure documentation is kept up to date in line with company policies. Required Skills General maintenance and DIY skills, including the, use of basic hand and
  
  power tools, Ability to identify faults, evaluate solutions, and carry out repairs efficiently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively. Strong attention to detail. Good understanding of health and safety requirements. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the location of the site.
