Full Job Description

We're assembling a Caretaker Hero to join our Housing Services League. Your mission: keep our estates safe, clean, and welcoming - and restore order wherever chaos appears (usually near the bin store). If you've ever thought, "I could save the day with a broom and a bucket," this is your moment. Your Superpowers (Main Duties):

  • Vanquish dirt and grime from communal areas using your cleaning expertise
  • Battle litter and keep external spaces looking their heroic best
  • Tame the bins, rotating them with strength, skill, and occasionally sheer willpower
  • Conduct estate patrols with the vigilance of a guardian watching over their city block
  • Respond to minor maintenance issues, fixing small problems before they become supervillains
  • Travel between locations in your trusty vehicle - because while flying would be great, we do need you to have a full UK driving
  • licence

  • Cleaning experience - your trusty origin story
  • A full, valid UK driving licence - your licence to hero
  • Ability to work independently and think on your feet (or on your superhero boots)
  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude - even heroes smile
