Carer's for the Elderly - Part-Time - variety of hours available.

You will provide one-to-one care in client's homes, supporting them to live well and stay independent.

Essential screening criteria:

You must have a UK driving licence and your own car.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK, we are currently no licenced to offer Certificates of Sponsorship.
You should live within our franchise area, if not we will refer you to your nearest Home Instead local office.

Responsibilities include:

- Personal care (washing, dressing, daily routines).
- Companionship (conversation, activities, meaningful time).
- Meal preparation (simple nutritious meals).
- Light home help (keeping areas tidy after tasks).
- Medication support (as trained and per care plan).

With us, you are paid for the time you are working, including travel between clients, plus agreed training and learning time. Travel between clients is paid at the same hourly rate as care time.

- Minimum 1-hour visits so you can deliver care properly, no rushing.
- Local patch with typical travel 10-15 minutes.
- Paid travel time, at same hourly care rate.
- Guaranteed hour contracts available (conditions apply).

£13.30 to £14.30 per hour (paid working time, including travel between clients.
- Paid travel time at the same hourly rates.
- £0.30 to £0.45/per mile travel expenses.
- Enhanced evening and weekend rates and double pay on Bank Holidays.
- Local visits (usually within 10-15 minute drive).
- Rota's issued every Friday, so you can plan ahead.

Work patterns:

- Start from 3 days per week + alternate weekends.
- Overtime available, often with clients you already know.
- Patterns available across the week, not only evenings.
