Full Job Description

As an Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the day-to-day operations. You will be the initial point of contact for carers accessing the service.

You will undertake triage based conversations to identify needs and will provide up to date information and advice to carers, referring them to the Carer Support Workers when appropriate. You will also provide support in planning and arranging a range of peer group, carer activities and training sessions for carers.

This role is primarily telephone-based, involving ongoing contact with carers, professionals and partner organisations throughout the day. This includes coordination and management of Emergency Support Plans.

In addition to handling general office tasks like answering phones and dealing with ad-hoc queries, you will assist rota management. If you thrive in a fast-paced work environment and enjoy utilising your organisational and communication skills this role may be a perfect fit for you.

We are looking for individuals who have an eye for details and the ability to work independently whilst managing sensitive and urgent situations in a calm and professional manner.

Previous administration experience, good IT skills and knowledge of Office 365 along with strong telephone skills are essential.

Experience of working within a health and social care setting would be an advantage but is not essential., Disability Confident About Disability Confident A Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer.
