Carer

You will support the Establishment Manager in the development and delivery of excellent day opportunities for people with complex needs, learning disabilities and or autism, supporting the team to realise customers goals achievements in a service that is customer focused and maximises customers outcomes in a person-centred environment.

You will be responsible for leading teams with design and delivery of support programmes via Dom Portal systems to ensure customers' needs are met and outcomes achieved develop positive relationships with parents, carers and work effectively with other colleagues and partners.

You will assist the Establishment manager in setting work objectives and standards for the team, translating well defined overall objectives into clear detailed activities for individuals and monitoring the effective performance of staff delivering against these, incorporating Progress in unity and the six ways of working strategies.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for social care and a commitment to promoting independence, dignity, choice and control through a person-centred approach. You will have experience supporting people in a care setting, strong organisational skills, and the ability to undertake a range of administrative and financial responsibilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain accurate records and support plans. You will be proactive, adaptable and able to support the effective running of the service, including providing guidance to colleagues, working collaboratively with families and professionals, and ensuring high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and quality care are maintained., To be appointed to this role you must be able to prove your right to work in the UK, and you must maintain a valid (active) right to work. Salary: Grade 6, £30,515 - £33,673 per annum.
