Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Careers and Work Related Learning Co-ordinator to join our team as a Careers Advisor. This role involves supporting students in exploring career options, developing employability skills, and accessing work-related learning opportunities. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience and hold a minimum qualification of a Certificate.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification: Certificate in careers guidance or related field
- At least 2 years' experience working in careers advice or work-related learning coordination
- Strong knowledge of current labour market trends and career pathways available to young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, employers, and external partners
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to provide impartial advice tailored to individual student needs without delivering formal curriculum lessons
