Full Job Description

One of our key strategic aims is our unrelenting focus on our people-first culture, ensuring you feel valued, empowered, and recognised for your individual contributions and expertise whether that be in a teaching capacity or a professional services team. All colleagues within the College contribute to the success of our students and we actively work to eliminate any barriers at work, ensuring you have the opportunity to thrive.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping students on T level study Programmes thrive. You will confidently use your expertise & experience in Health & Social Care or Early Years Education to create meaningful industry experiences. In this role, you will support students to develop the skills, confidence, and professional knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers.

You will be at the heart of building strong relationships with local employers, the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), and other key stakeholders to secure high-quality placements that meet both regulatory and college standards. Your day-to-day work will involve coordinating placements, providing guidance and support to students, visiting employer sites, and work closely with curriculum staff, managers, and support teams to ensure placements align with student learning.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is proactive in problem-solving, and can balance multiple priorities with attention to detail. Most importantly, you will be a champion for students, helping them navigate the transition from learning to work while fostering positive, lasting connections between the college and the local community. Apply now to be part of our dynamic team

We have four main sites across the city with state-of-the-art facilities. Further future investment in our estates is now allowing us to provide the best possible outcomes for our students and local communities, delivered by our fantastic community of colleagues.

We offer the widest range of academic and vocational qualifications in the area, with more than 1,000 courses available from entry to degree level and we provide education and training to approximately 10,000 students each year.

Our people-first ethos provides a highly supportive, flexible approach to enable you to excel within your role and to reach your full potential. In return, you can expect the following:

Two-week paid Christmas close down and additional paid time off over Easter on top of a generous holiday entitlement of 26 holiday days, plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time roles).

Membership to the Local Government Pension Scheme with employer contributions of 18.0 %
