Careers Advisor
10 hours x 38 weeks a year
Grade 6 - Pts 9 to 10
Pay: £5,858 - £5,952 (FTE £25,995 - £26,409)
Start date: 20th August 2026
Are you passionate about helping young people explore their future aspirations and achieve their full potential? Lutterworth High School is seeking a part-time Careers Advisor to join our team. This is a position ideally suited to someone seeking a career change who demonstrates a willingness to develop their skills and knowledge in this area as well as undertaking recognised careers advice qualifications.
Working closely with the senior staff, employers, further and higher education providers, and external partners, you will provide impartial careers education, information, advice and guidance to students across the school. The successful candidate will support the implementation and continuous development of the school's Careers Programme, ensuring it meets statutory requirements and aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks of Good Career Guidance. You will contribute to raising aspirations, broadening horizons and ensuring that all students, regardless of background or ability, are well prepared for their next steps.
