Full Job Description

Care Workers at Level 1 implement Care Plans and report any concerns or reasons care plans cannot be followed, as well as monitoring care and welfare of citizens, recording accurate information on running records, communication books, care plans monitoring charts (e.g. weight monitoring, falls, etc.) and other written and electronic communications as required. Care Workers at Level 1 are also expected to work and cooperate with other professionals, as well as citizens and their meaningful others, to ensure a shared approach to care and support and continuity of care and treatment.

  • Implementation of Care Plans and contribution to running records and daily monitoring forms.
  • Ability to encourage and support citizens to achieve and/or maintain maximum independence, and to maintain contact with friends, family and community.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the rights, needs and feelings of vulnerable adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to follow all instructions, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • - A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post. PLEASE NOTE that this role does not meet the relevant salary threshold criteria for Skilled Visa sponsorship, and therefore applicants requiring sponsorship are unable to apply.
