Hours: 35 hours per week (Week 1: Mon, Tues, Saturday, Sunday; Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

Please note: This role is in Oswestry and will require own transport if travelling to location.


About the role


To provide a caring and person-centred service to individuals with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, working flexibly as part of a 7 days a week and 24-hour Care Quality Commission (CQC) Registered Service. Delivering a service under the leadership of a Registered Manager, you will demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding in line with policy and procedure and empower customers, enhancing life choices and achieving outcomes.


What you'll be doing



  • Delivering a flexible and responsive service.

  • Working in partnership with customers to co-produce support plans and key records.

  • Delivering high-quality, sensitive, and dignified personal care for customers.

  • Competent administration of medication, recording relevant information accurately as directed.

  • Monitoring customers' health and wellbeing, accompanying and supporting customers to their health appointments.

  • Supporting customers with life skills, enablement, and positive risk-taking.

  • Identifying, accompanying, and engaging customers to access meaningful social and cultural activities.

  • Completing and maintaining accurate and detailed records that meet the requirements of the organisation and CQC.


Who we're looking for?



  • A positive attitude around person-centred approaches to working with individuals with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.

  • A working knowledge of legislation and regulation regarding delivering care support to vulnerable people.

  • Experience of working within a busy care environment.

  • Experience of keeping accurate and compliant records.

  • Experience of working with Microsoft applications.

  • A Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or relevant.

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
