Care Team Manager - (Hybrid, Mon-Fri) Location: Leading the teams across 2 supported living services in Ammanford and Llanelli Hours: Full-time (37 hours), Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm On-call: Quarterly rotation Salary: £31,354 + excellent benefits Are you a confident, adaptable leader with a passion for supporting people and developing teams? We're looking for a Team Manager to lead the teams supporting individuals with learning disabilities as a lead need, however some individuals may also have additional needs including mental health and substance misuse. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same-and your ability to stay organised, manage time effectively, and adapt to change will be key., As Team Manager, you'll lead a team of staff , working closely to deliver high-quality, person-centred care across 2 Supported Living services in Ammanford and Llanelli. One service supports 3 individuals and the other is a larger service where we support 6 individuals. You'll be responsible for service delivery, compliance, team development, and ensuring the needs of individuals are met with compassion and professionalism. You'll work alongside the Registered Manager to:
- Deliver services in line with RISCA, Care Inspectorate Wales, and Social Care Wales standards
- Lead recruitment, supervision, and development of your team
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory frameworks
- Manage referrals, rosters, and service delivery plans
- Support individuals with their individual complex needs
- Collaborate with families, professionals, and partner organisations
- Use IT systems confidently to manage data, rosters, and reporting
- Participate in the on-call rota and support other services as needed
Proven leadership experience in adult social care - Strong IT literacy and organisational skills
- Knowledge of HR and recruitment practices (desirable)
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
- Understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks
- QCF/ NVQ in Health & Social Care (and willingness to work towards Level 4)
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- A flexible, proactive mindset and a passion for making a difference
