Care Team Leader

Lifeways is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Care Team Leader to join our dedicated team at Portway House in Stafford. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on support with leadership responsibilities, helping people with learning disabilities live fulfilling, independent lives while supporting and developing a committed team of Support Workers. Working alongside the people we support and your team, you'll lead by example, inspire best practice and help create a positive and supportive environment for everyone.,

• Leading, motivating and supporting a team of Support Workers
• Conducting supervisions, coaching sessions and performance reviews
• Supporting recruitment, interviews and new starter inductions
• Promoting independence, choice and positive outcomes for the people we support
• Building positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies
• Ensuring care records and service documentation are accurate and compliant
• Maintaining a safe, supportive and empowering environment
• Supporting with on-call duties when required
• Championing Lifeways values and delivering excellent person-centred support
  
  Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your career?, We're seeking an experienced and confident care professional who is passionate about supporting people and leading others., Experience as a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or a similar role within Health and Social Care
• A Health & Social Care qualification (NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent desirable)
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• The ability to motivate, coach and develop colleagues
• A genuine commitment to person-centred support
• Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft applications
• Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns

This position is based on 37.5 hours per week, worked across a combination of:
• Early Shift: 7:00am to 2:30pm
• Late Shift: 2:30pm to 10:00pm
• Long Day: 7:00am to 10:00pm
• Sleep-In Shift: 10:00pm to 7:00am
In addition, the role includes approximately 7.5 hours of office-based duties per month.,
