Care supervisor
We are looking for an NVQ Level 3 qualified carer with a minimum of 5 years care experience to join our team of care supervisors. Previous experience in a care supervisory role is preferred, but full training is given. You will be involved with such things as completing client assessments and reviews, liaising with relatives & health professionals, spot-checks, writing care plans and generally making sure that we are providing the best quality care and service possible.
At Choice Care, we provide the best possible care and support for those that need it - including people coming to the end of life, those with dementia, sensory impairment, or physical difficulties - enabling our clients to live in their own homes with dignity and enjoy the best possible quality of life.
We are a Preferred Provider for Blackburn with Darwen Council, Lancashire County Council, the NHS and ICB as well as private clients. We are a family business and have been providing care in the area for 26 years.
About this role
This is a full time position of 40 hours a week plus rotating on call which attracts additional payment of £214.38 per weekend.
This is a community based role.
Essential requirements
- NVQ 3 with a minimum of 5 years care experience
- Full driving license & use of a car
- Experience of working as a supervisor within the health and social care sector.
