Full Job Description
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients, providing courteous and professional assistance via phone and in person
- Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-up communications efficiently
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and administrative tasks using clinical systems EMIS and DOCMAN.
- Assist with processing paperwork, billing, and insurance documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care plans
- Ensure all communication adheres to confidentiality standards and organisational policies
- Utilise organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Perform general clerical duties including typing, filing, and maintaining office supplies
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Care Navigator to join our lovely reception team at Littleborough Group Practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating patient care, providing administrative support, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering compassionate care. The ideal applicant will possess relevant office experience and be proficient in various computer applications. A higher hourly rate provided depending on experience.
Littleborough Group Practice is a CQC-rated Good, EMIS Web practice caring for approximately 8,600 patients. We are a training practiceand a member of Pennines PCN.
