Care Experienced Advisor

In this role, your lived experience becomes a strength, helping to inform, influence and drive improvements across children's social care in East Riding. What you'll be doing:

• Act as an expert adviser, using your lived experience to help shape local reform work.
• Lead consultation and engagement activities with care-experienced children and young people.
• Co-produce service design and workforce development with professionals.
• Help produce impactful reports, presentations and briefings.
• Build strong relationships with partners.
• Support safe, inclusive spaces for young people to share experiences.
  
  You are care experienced.
• You can build positive, professional relationships.
• You feel comfortable sharing your experiences on your own terms.
• You have experience in participation, advocacy, youth voice or advisory work.
• You can use IT confidently.
• You can travel across East Riding when needed.
