Full Job Description
Due to maternity leave, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist to join our specialist service for people experiencing a first episode of psychosis as a Care Co-ordinator., To complete specialist assessments (PANSS) for referred service users accepted into the service when required. Training will be provided and all assessments are completed by 2 x staff members.
To have knowledge of, and contribute to the team adherence to the NHS England Access and Waiting Time Standards (Referral To Treatment) for EIP.
To hold and manage a caseload of service users who have been identified as experiencing their first episode of psychosis, including needs assessments, care planning and delivering psychosocial interventions.
To be aware of and adhere to responsibilities for people under CPA/CMHF, including offering/arranging carers support.
