Contact patients by telephone to arrange appointments, follow-ups and appropriate services. Work with GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other members of the practice team to support patient care. Signpost patients to appropriate health, social care and community services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.   • Provide reception cover, including welcoming patients and supporting the front desk when required.
  • Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, referrals and processing documents.
  • Support the practice with PCN and practice projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with practice policies, GDPR and information governance requirements.
  • Work as part of the wider practice and PCN team to improve patient access and experience.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties required by the Practice Manager.

  • Knowledge of EMIS or other primary care systems.
