Full Job Description

We are looking for an organised and compassionate Care Co-ordinator to join our Sheffield Family Service. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day running of a residential service, ensuring residents, their children, and visiting professionals receive a high-quality, well-coordinated service. You will act as a central point of contact within the service, combining administration, coordination, and frontline support.,

  • Manage the day-to-day administration and smooth running of the service office
  • Coordinate and book appointments for residents and external professionals
  • Maintain accurate diaries, records, and communication systems
  • Act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and professionals
  • Welcome visitors and complete ID and safeguarding checks
  • Support residents with day-to-day needs when they attend the office
  • Order and manage medication in line with procedures
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and information sharing
  • Support the delivery of care in line with organisational policies and safeguarding requirements

    Highly organised with strong administrative skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality standards
  • Experience in a care, residential, or support setting (desirable)
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) and databases
