About Our Home At Holmes House are a welcoming residential care home dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred care for elderly residents, including those living with dementia and a range of health conditions. Our home provides a safe, friendly and supportive environment where residents are encouraged to remain active, independent and involved in everyday life. We offer both short-term and long-term placements, tailoring our care and support to meet each resident's individual needs. We believe that care should be rewarding and enjoyable - not only for our residents, but for our staff too. We have a fun and varied activities programme designed to bring residents together, encourage participation and create meaningful moments every day. What the Role Involves As a member of our care team, you will play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, comfort and as much independence as possible. This is a hands-on care role, and you will need to be
comfortable and prepared to provide all aspects of personal care, including: Supporting residents with personal hygiene, washing, dressing and grooming. Assisting with eating and drinking, including supporting residents who may need encouragement or assistance with meals and fluids. Providing continence care and support, including changing and maintaining residents' dignity and comfort. Supporting residents with mobility and everyday activities. Providing compassionate care to residents living with dementia and other health conditions. Building positive relationships with residents and helping them feel safe, respected and valued. Taking part in our activities programme and encouraging residents to participate where appropriate. Working as part of a supportive team to ensure residents receive consistent, high-quality care. Why Work With Us? We are committed to supporting our team and helping you build a rewarding career in care. We offer: Free training and ongoing development to help you
grow in confidence and skills. A welcoming, friendly and supportive working environment where every team member is valued. A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to the lives of our residents. A set working pattern, allowing you to plan your personal life, family commitments and time off well in advance. The opportunity to work as part of a caring and dedicated team. If you are caring, compassionate and passionate about making a difference to older people's lives, and you are comfortable providing hands-on personal care, we would love to hear from you.
