Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a meaningful career in Health & Social Care as a Care Assistant Apprentice. You’ll earn while you learn, gain nationally recognised qualifications, and develop the confidence and practical skills needed to support young adults and older people in a warm, caring environment.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver person‑centred care, promoting dignity, choice, independence and wellbeing
  • Support residents with personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
  • Assist with nutrition and hydration, including mealtime support
  • Help residents engage in social, recreational and wellbeing activities
  • Learn to recognise and respond to changes in residents’ physical, emotional and mental health
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Complete care records accurately under supervision
  • Take part in team meetings, supervision and development reviews
  • Follow all policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
  • Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment
