Introduction
This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a meaningful career in Health & Social Care as a Care Assistant Apprentice. What You'll Do
- Deliver person‑centred care, promoting dignity, choice, independence and wellbeing
- Support residents with personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
- Assist with nutrition and hydration, including mealtime support
- Help residents engage in social, recreational and wellbeing activities
- Learn to recognise and respond to changes in residents’ physical, emotional and mental health
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Complete care records accurately under supervision
- Take part in team meetings, supervision and development reviews
- Follow all policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
- Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment
