Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of those in their care. • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support clients with mobility and transfer activities, ensuring safety at all times
• Help with meal preparation and feeding, respecting dietary requirements and preferences
• Aid in medication management and administration as per care plans
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
• Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies
• Follow care plans meticulously to meet individual needs and preferences
• Assist with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and comfortable living space
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
  
  Valid driving licence is desirable for supporting home care visits
• Experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous
• Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans accurately
• Good IT skills for maintaining records and documentation
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
