ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to
ensure continuity of services to residents. Other responsibilities will include: Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times. Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner. Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident., The role of Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare is focused on delivering high standards of personal care to residents, ensuring their independence, dignity, and respect. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene care, recognizing and managing clinical risk areas, and practicing safe systems of work. Candidates are expected to possess effective communication skills, demonstrate initiative, and be adaptable to cover various responsibilities. While experience is not required due to Avery's induction and training program, candidates must adhere to the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in their work.
