A full driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential due to the geographical nature of the rounds.

Shift patterns include daytime (07:00 - 14:00) and evening shifts (14:00 - 22:00).


Job Description


What You'll Be Doing


You will help vulnerable clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Medication support (preparation and administration)

  • Mobility support (including the safe use of aids and equipment)

  • Mealtime support (preparing meals/snacks, and feeding if required)

  • Light domestic duties (laundry, making beds, light cleaning)

  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care)

  • Companionship (building meaningful relationships and emotional support)


What Else You'll Help With



  • Companionship conversations, activities, outings

  • Medication management (collecting prescriptions, reminders, safe administration)

  • Nutrition & Mealtimes (cooking nutritious meals considering dietary needs)

  • Mobility assistance (transfers, walking support, use of aids)

  • Health monitoring (observing and reporting changes in condition)

  • Social inclusion (helping maintain community and family connections)

  • Emotional support (empathy, reassurance, and listening)

  • Documentation (accurate record keeping)

  • Safety & emergency response (creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed)

  • Collaboration (working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families)


Qualifications


What You'll Need (Besides a Cape!)


You do not need formal care experience! Skills gained from raising a family, caring for loved ones, or managing a household are valuable. Full, paid training is provided. We're looking for:



  • Genuine empathy, compassion, and respect for others

  • Reliability, punctuality, and a caring nature

  • Patience and active listening skills to understand client needs

  • Resilience and adaptability as no two days (or clients) are the same

  • A keen eye for detail to spot changes in health or well-being

  • The ability to use initiative and stay calm under pressure

  • Willingness to learn new skills and participate in continuous training

  • Good communication and team spirit

  • The right to work in the UK (please note: visa sponsorship is not available)
