Care Assistant

We are a dedicated staffing agency currently recruiting on behalf of a premium, friendly residential facility in the Romford area. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join their outstanding team to help create a supportive and safe environment for residents., As a Care Assistant, you will support individuals who may be elderly, living with physical disabilities, or managing health conditions such as dementia. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and assisting with medication or meal preparation.
• Offering genuine companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Assisting with light domestic duties within the home.
• Supporting residents with safe moving and handling., Comprehensive Training: Full, ongoing training is provided for all staff, ensuring you feel confident and fully equipped to deliver exceptional care, regardless of your prior experience level.
• Supportive Environment: A welcoming and collaborative team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care.
  
  Experience: Familiarity with assisted living, nursing home environments, or specialized care for Alzheimer's and dementia patients is highly preferred. However, no prior experience is required if you have a background in retail, hospitality, or simply a strong desire to enter the care giving field, those transferable skills are highly valuable.
• Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal), a hospitable demeanour, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Relevant skills such as first aid and medication administration are beneficial.
• Requirements: Successful applicants will be required to hold or undertake an Enhanced DBS Check. Essential care certificates are preferred, though full training will be provided.
