Job Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our client. The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, provide companionship, and ensure the client's comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.,

  • Provide support with daily personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Assist the client with mobility and safe walking support, including using mobility aids such as a walking stick.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation and meaningful interaction.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and drinks according to the client's preferences.
  • Encourage adequate nutrition and hydration by offering refreshments regularly.
  • Empty and clean the commode as required, maintaining good hygiene standards.
  • Make the client's bed daily and change/wash bedding regularly when required.
  • Support with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes and bedding.
  • Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including tidying the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and other areas.
  • Assist with household tasks such as taking out bins and keeping the client's surroundings organised.
  • Provide support with caring for household pets/animals, including feeding a visiting cat and refilling outdoor animal feeders and water bowls.
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's health, behaviour, mobility, or wellbeing.
  • Follow the client's care plan and maintain confidentiality, dignity, and respect at all times.

    Previous experience working in care or supporting vulnerable adults.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
  • Commitment to providing person-centred care.
  • Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete required care training.
