As a Care Assistant at Welwyn Grange, you will play an important role in creating a professional, safe and comfortable home for our residents, while delivering the highest quality, person-centred care with Competence, Choice and Compassion.

You will provide hands-on support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meals and mobility, while promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing. Most importantly, you will get to know our residents as individuals, understanding their needs, preferences and interests and supporting them to have choice and control over their daily lives.

You'll work as part of a friendly and supportive team, building positive relationships with residents, their families and your colleagues. Whether it's providing practical support, having a chat over a cup of tea or helping someone take part in an activity they enjoy, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference every day.
