Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant at Pennington Court, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to residents - including those living with dementia - with warmth, patience and professionalism. Helping them feel safe, valued and understood. This part-time position is initially offered on a casual/bank basis offering you meaningful work within a supportive team. Initially this role is required to cover holiday and sickness absence, ensuring continuity of care for our residents.,

• Personal Care Support - Assist with washing, dressing, mobility and mealtime support, always delivered with dignity and sensitivity.
• Dementia-Focused Support - Provide calm, structured and reassuring care tailored to residents living with dementia.
• Emotional Companionship - Offer kindness, patience and meaningful interaction to promote wellbeing.
• Domestic Assistance - Help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable living environment.
• Observation & Reporting - Notice changes in residents' health or behaviour and communicate promptly with senior staff.
• Holiday & Sickness Cover - Provide additional support when colleagues are away, ensuring seamless, high-quality care.
• Team Collaboration - Work closely with colleagues to deliver consistent, person-centred care.
