You don't need experience to become a Care Assistant, just good written and verbal communication, and some IT skills. An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care is a big advantage.
Signature at Ascot are holding weekly drop in sessions on Wednesdays from 12pm to 3pm. You can pop in at any time and meet our friendly team, there will be opportunities to have a look around our beautiful home and speak to our teams about opportunities we have available. If you bring your updated CV you may be able to have an interview on the day! Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship so can only offer interviews to candidates who have the right to work in the UK. We'll need you to bring your compassion and uniqueness to this role. Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist dementia care. You'll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around. You'll help them make their apartments feel like home. You'll enjoy their favourite activities with them, like bingo, shopping and live music. You'll develop strong relationships with the individuals you work with, and their families. You'll be respectful of residents' choices, dignity and independence, always. You'll also be integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs. What Signature offer
- From £13.75 per hour
- Shift times: 08.00-20.15 / 20.00-08.15. Alternate weekends required.
- Part Time (Days 23.5 hours / Nights 24.5 hours)
- Full Time (Days 35.25 hours / Nights 36.75 hours)
- Up to 30 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays, depending on length of service
