Full Job Description
Every day as a domiciliary Care Assistant is different, but your impact is always the same - life-changing. You'll support people to stay independent in their own homes and be a trusted part of a close-knit, local team. You'll help with:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect - bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
- Assisting with medication - preparation and administration
- Helping with mobility - and using aids/equipment safely
- Preparing meals/snacks - and offering mealtime support
- Carrying out light domestic duties - laundry, making beds, light cleaning
- Offering companionship and reassurance - building meaningful relationships You'll also:
- Encourage social engagement and family connections
- Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- ️ Respond to emergencies safely and effectively
