Full Job Description

Personal Care Support - Assisting with washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and hygiene.
Mobility & Physical Assistance - Helping individuals move safely and using mobility aids appropriately.
Companionship & Emotional Support - Providing emotional care, encouraging well-being, and engaging in social or leisure activities.
End-of-Life Care - Offering sensitive and respectful support to those at the end of life.
Daily Household Tasks - Supporting with tasks such as changing beds, laundry, and basic cleaning.
Monitoring & Reporting - Observing changes in health or well-being and reporting concerns to management.
Care Planning & Record Keeping - Following care plans, updating notes, and participating in reviews and training.
Promoting Independence & Safety - Encouraging independence and helping manage risks safely.

A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle (essential for community visits).
A caring and empathetic attitude, with a genuine desire to help others.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen and respond effectively.
Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive work ethic.
Willingness to learn, including attending training and professional development.
Confidence working alone and as part of a team.
Awareness of or willingness to learn about safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional standards.
